Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g

From the kitchen you will need

  • Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 tin (370g)
  • Cold Milk 1½ cup (375ml)
  • Egyptian Rice, cooked 1 cup (150g)
  • Pistachio seeds, crushed ½ cup (70g)
  • Corn Flour 3 tbs (40g)
  • Orange Blossom 1 tbs (15ml)
  • Mastic Powder ¼ tsp (2g)
  • Kunafa Pastry, crushed 200 g
  • Butter, melted 5 tbs (50g)
  • Crushed Pistachios (optional garnish) 12 tsp (40g)

Step by Step

  • In a saucepan combine Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk, Milk, Rice, Pistachio, Corn flour, and Mastic Powder and cook over medium heat until thickened, remove from heat and stir in Orange Blossom.

  • Meanwhile rub Pastry with Butter, arrange on a baking tray and toast in oven until golden, remove and allow to cool.

  • Divide half of the toasted pastry between 12 jars, top with prepared custard and layer the remaining pastry on top, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  • Garnish with more pistachios before serving.
