Ghraibeh Pistachio Recipe
From Nestlé® you will need
From the kitchen you will need
- Ghee 500 g
- Caster Sugar 500 g
- Baking Powder 4 teaspoon
- Flour 1 kg
- For Filling:
- Pistachios 325 g
- Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 397g 1 tin
- Tea Biscuits 100 g
- Rose Water 30 ml
- Blossom Water 15 ml

Using a kitchen machine, add ghee and caster sugar to the bowl.

Beat using the paddle attachment for 3 minutes and/or until it turns white in color.

Add the flour and mix for another 2 minutes until the dough is well combined.

Divide the dough and form into 20 g balls.

For filling

In a food processor, grind the pistachios and biscuits finely (Powder texture).Add the Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk, rose water and blossom water and blend until well combined and you have a paste texture.

Form long strands with the pistachio dough that you can use for filling.

Stuff the mini balls and fill with the pistachio filling. Form into a long oval shape, place it on the trayand decorate with the halved pistachio.

Place in a 350° C preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes until the bottom turns golden in color.

Leave in the tray until completely cold.
