Lemon Pound Cake Recipe

From the kitchen you will need
- Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 395 g 0.75 tin
- All-purpose flour 1.25 cups
- Baking Powder 0.75 teaspoon
- Salt 0.5 teaspoon
- Butter (softened) 1 cup
- Sugar 0.5 cup
- Eggs 3 pieces
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Lemon zest, grated 1 tablespoon
- Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- For lemon sauce:
- Lemon Juice 4 teaspoon
- Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 395 g 0.25 tin
- Lemon zest, for decoration 2 g

Preheat oven to 180° C and place rack inside.

Line a 20*10 cm rectangular cake mould with parchment paper.

On a parchment paper, sift flour, baking powder and salt.

In a mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar on medium speed for 3 minutes. Add the eggs gradually while whisking then pour vanilla extract, lemon zest and lemon juice.

Add Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk and whisk until well combined. Fold in the flour mixture.

Pour cake mixture in the mold, bake and leave aside to cool completely.

For lemon sauce

Stir Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk with lemon juice for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens like a sauce. Spread it over the cake then decorate with lemon zest.
