Caramel & Cream Kunafa in Jars Recipe

- For the kunafa filling:
- Kunafa Vermicelli 500 g
- Butter (unsalted) 300 g
- Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
- Nutmeg 1 teaspoon
- Speculoos biscuits (crushed) 1 cup
- For the cream filling:
- Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 397g 1 tin
- Water 2 cups
- Corn Starch 5 tablespoons
- Flour 2 tablespoons
- Mastic Powder 2 teaspoons
- Orange Blossom Water 1 teaspoon
- Rose Water 1 teaspoon
- For the caramel filling:
- Nestlé® Caramelized Sweetened Condensed Milk 397g 1 tin

For the kunafa dough, in a large pot over medium heat, melt ½ amount of the butter and put in ½ amount of the raw kunafa. Stir till golden brown. Take it out and place it on a tray. Repeat.

Add crushed biscuits and spices over the cooked kunafa. Mix and crush together. Divide the kunafa into halves to make sure that kunafa is equally cooked with the same color

For the cream filling, mix Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk, water and corn flour in a saucepan. Bring to boil with constant stirring until it thickens.

Turn off the heat and add mastic, rose water and orange blossom water.

To assemble, layer kunafa mix in jars, then top with prepared creamy filling, then with Nestlé® Caramelized Sweetened Condensed Milk, top again with kunafa mix and repeat

Top the last layer of kunafa with Nestlé® Caramelized Sweetened Condensed Milk and sprinkle with crushed Speculoos biscuits
